Pirkkala Aiport

If you arrive in the Tampere Pirkkala Airport, there is two way to get to the city center. You can take the public transport bus number 61 just outside of the Terminal One Building. The bus departs from Pyynikintori. The route is Keskustori-Hatanpää highway-Härmälä-Pirkkala-airport. Stops on request at bus stops along the way. Journey takes about 40 min. Or if you want a special and faster express bus-Airpro (Ryanair Bus), you can take the bus infront of the terminal two. It costs 6 euro for each passenger. Click here for the schedule of express bus.

Railway Station

The train station is just located at the city center. From Tampere railway station, there are good connection services to the different parts of the city. By the railway station, e.g. at Hämeenkatu and Rautatienkatu, there are bus stops of Tampere City transport.

 

 

 

Tampere Coach Station

Long-Distance Coaches Station

If you are taking a coach from Helsinki or other city. Long-distance intercity coaches arrive at and depart from the Long-Distance Coach Station (in Finnish: linja-autoasema). The station is located in the city centre at approximately 500 metres from the Railway Station and Hämeenkatu, the main street. Some of the coaches also stop at other locations in the city centre (Hämeenkatu, Keskustori Central Square, Railway Station) - you can always ask the driver.
