Student housing in the city of Tampere is administrated by the Tampere Student Housing Foundation (TOAS), which maintains and rents out student accommodation. TOAS housing is only available for students studying above secondary school level in and around the Tampere area.
The Tampere Student Housing Foundation (TOAS) provides rentable student housing. All full-time students of any post-comprehensive educational institutions located in Tampere are eligible to apply for TOAS housing in one of our approximately 5000 apartments in more than 50 locations. TOAS apartments are an affordable, safe and easy way to enjoy living in Tampere throughout your studies. TOAS rents, constructs and maintains student housing in Tampere.
Internet in TOAS
All tenants at TOAS are entitled to the benefits of TOASnet. To connect to TOASnet you need to visit the accommodation office to sign a contract. At Lapinkaari TOASnet is only connected to some of the properties. The eligible tenants who wish to connect are charged 22 euro per month.

Rent
Rent is due for payment on the 6th day of each month. If a payment is delayed, the tenant is liable to pay a notification fee of 5 € and an annual interest rate of 9,5 % on the rent.
